As I shift my business for the move to Seattle in January, taking more on jobs in the pacific northwest, I want to communicate clearly with you that I am still excited to book work on the east coast, Virginia specifically! Richmond is special to me. I would be psyched to return and keep a base of jobs coming from this sweet city & surrounding areas! This state has so much to offer– in the thick forests of trees, rolling blue ridges, riverside and in the fields of open farmland. It truly is a treasure I hope to keep coming back to see.
Hannah & Parker’s wedding put this land’s beauty on display in a real way, and I was honored to capture their love amidst it! These two decided from the beginning that this thing was going to feel like them; that they would honor what they love through the planning process and cultivate an intimate space that truly embodied them. They handled all aspects of their wedding with both boldness and grace, stripping back the production and simply letting their love take the show. Their loved ones played an important role, with Parker’s mom officiating, Hannah’s brother’s blue grass band playing music, and many other hands taking part in sharing what makes up their love story. We celebrated with food trucks, yard games, good beer, and I loved every second of it!
Virginia couples, I am stoked to keep documenting you! Let’s take a drive down winding, mountain roads, frolic open fields, and commemorate this season with the things you love most. Spots for 2020 are limited with travel, so don’t hesitate to reach out and book!
